In 2019, Flint Hills Resources (FHR) recognized a need to identify operations and maintenance issues early as possible. FHR determined that Prometheus APM was the fastest way to have immediate impacts on the performance and reliability of their refineries. In this presentation, Nick Walker will describe how FHR has used Prometheus APM to manage the chaos of hundreds of thousands of data points and tens of thousands of predictive models leading to millions of dollars saved through avoided failures and improved operating performance.
