David Saad is a Principal Engineer at CAMS, responsible for monitoring Asset Performance Management (APM) predictive analytics software for power generation customers. He leads monitoring initiatives that proactively detect and diagnose equipment issues, enabling more effective maintenance and operational decision-making. With 28 years of experience in the power generation industry, David’s background spans power plant operations, turbine controls commissioning, and Dry Low NOx combustion tuning on heavy-frame gas turbines. He brings over 16 years of expertise in advanced analytics design and monitoring across diverse assets, including combined cycle, coal, hydro, nuclear, wind, solar, and balance-of-plant systems. Prior to joining CAMS, he was a Customer Reliability Manager at GE Digital APM. David holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
