Neil Rothney is a retired Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) with more than 25 years in the role and over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. His career spans a wide range of leadership and technical positions, including Project Manager, Safety Manager for a major oil company, Senior Lecturer at a maritime university, global auditor of ships and oil terminals, Major Emergency Response Coordinator, Commissioning Manager, and FPSO builder. He qualified as a Master Mariner in 1988 and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute. An early adopter of RiskPoynt, he has been an active end-user for over a decade and remains closely connected to its evolution and impact.
