Dirk Tijsmans brings over 35 years of experience at Bayer’s Antwerp site, where he has held a range of roles across maintenance—both central and departmental—as well as spare parts (MRO) management. With deep, hands-on knowledge of maintenance operations, Dirk is currently focused on driving lean practices and improving collaboration across maintenance teams. His work emphasizes efficiency, standardisation, and continuous improvement in complex industrial environments. He is actively involved in key initiatives including Asset Performance Management (APM) and S/4HANA transformation projects.
