Neil Rothney is an Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) with more than 25 years in the role and over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. His career spans a wide range of leadership and technical positions, including Project Manager, Safety Manager for a major oil company, Senior Lecturer at a maritime university, global auditor of ships and oil terminals, Major Emergency Response Coordinator, Commissioning Manager, and FPSO builder. He qualified as a Master Mariner in 1988 and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute. An early adopter of RiskPoynt, he has been an active end-user for over a decade and remains closely connected to its evolution and impact.
