Every organisation has a process for managing and executing shutdowns, turnarounds, and outages. These processes are also often effective. However, there is often one major weakness: an over reliance on institutional knowledge. Maybe it is a legacy system that is no longer maintained or a key stakeholder that has been in the organisation for a long time. In this session we’ll cover common challenges and gaps in STO processes and how organisations can build strong frameworks to de-risk their shutdowns management.
